Kamil Raczkowski, a racing driver sponsored by Kager, won this year’s series of KIA Lotos Cup races!
He confirmed his top class during the last round held on the racetrack in Poznań on 7th October.
The competition generated intense excitement, both among competitors and fans. In both races spectacular situations abounded, as one might expect in events involving much stronger vehicles. Young drivers showed great spirits and high skills. Kager’s representative, Kamil Raczkowski, excelled in this group and was first from the very beginning, followed by Igor Gregorczyk. The fight between these two drivers was fierce, even the bodies of their cars were not spared some scratches. For such collisions Kamil Raczkowski got the penalty of 20 seconds, which pushed him in classification after the first race down to the far 13th place. Maciej Steinhoff took advantage of the confusion on the track and came first from behind the backs of the two fighting drifters.
In the second race Raczkowski started from a distant pole position, and showed his real skills. He overtook his rivals one by one and after several rounds Kamil was just behind the leader, Igor Gregorczyk. The fight between these two competitors excited the spectators. The two drivers changed the lead one by one and both fought fiercely, but fair play. However Raczkowski had the final say that day. The victory, in a great style, gave the Kager-supported driver the championship in the 2007 Kia Lotos Cup.
Among many prizes received by Kamil Raczkowski there was a cup from Fota, the owner of the Kager brand, which awarded this year’s success of its representative as well as his commitment and fighting sprit. Waldemar Fijołek, the Marketing Director at Fota S.A., congratulated Kamil on his great result and confirmed that Kager would continue sponsoring him next year, probably in a higher class, KIA Ceed Cup.
Congratulations to our representative on the Championship and we wish him more successes in the next season!
